| The way I read the hidden language is to articulate my dreams. The spontaneous images and metaphors of the dream are interwoven in a story that reconciles an interior world with an exterior life. On an unconscious level, each new dream reconfigures and balances life by changing both the past and the future to reflect the current moment. Making miniature art is my way of creating a three dimensional experience that illuminates. If I am able to stay open and honest while actively engaging my imagination, the process becomes a way of knowing. Art and dreams occupy that space of tension in the middle where two opposites overlap. The Library is a collection of books from this in-between world of the mind and heart. It is a place to read the hidden language of the soul and make new discoveries. Each book is an effort to capture a fleeting inner experience of the imagination and dream. The books articulate that space where the personal is universal and the universe is within. |
